When Hole and Corner decided to come to India for a project, there were many strings of sensibilities that aligned for both of us, the most endearing of which was a mutual appreciation for true craftsmanship. We journeyed twice to discover the life of art in India. For Issue 12, we journeyed across Rajasthan to meet with craftsmen who are carrying forward the legacy of their family crafts, even in harsh conditions. 
In an involvement filled with discoveries of people and places, we traveled for Issue 13, to the ageing theatres of the South that are reminiscent of a time when movie going was a way of life.
