  • DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER

    We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our multi-disciplinary team in
    Delhi. The role will be intrapreneurial and the candidate will be responsible for conceptualising
    and executing a cohesive digital marketing strategy for the brand. We are looking for a creative,
    goal-oriented professional who can drive our B2C marketing, encompassing our content strategy,
    newsletters, social media presence and other digital growth initiatives.

    As a Digital Marketing Manager of a luxury brand that operates mostly on the digital realm, you would be
    responsible for reaching out to such travellers using creative communication strategies. Since this
    is a highly intrapreneurial role reporting directly to the CEO, we are looking for someone who is
    highly driven, result-oriented and keen to learn.

    The Digital Marketing Manager would:

    • Take part in developing the overall Communication Strategy for Kamalan, and ensure all
    B2C marketing initiatives adhere to the brand’s vision
    • Conceptualise and create a content calendar for the Kamalan website in line with our overall
    marketing strategy
    • Design and develop Email marketing campaigns and use closed loop analytics to optimize
    our marketing and sales processes
    • Develop a comprehensive social media strategy, primarily on Instagram, and create a cost-
    effective way of reaching potential clients
    • Create and manage the Kamalan community through a CRM, and identify strategies to grow
    the newsletter subscriber base
    • Conceive innovative print collaterals to be produced and delivered to our clients and
    partners periodically
    • Be a part of the strategic conceptualization as well as tactical implementation of digital
    campaigns that work across all our platforms
    • Work closely with the Sales team to identify opportunities in product creation and
    communication and translate them into marketing initiatives
    • Develop promotional language for workshops and events created for outreach

    The ideal candidate would:

    • Have experience in the luxury brand space, with experience in communications
    • Be well-travelled and widely-read, with impeccable oral and written communication skills
    • Have good business acumen with a sound knowledge of marketing concepts
    • Have expertise in multiple Social Media Platforms, Content Management Systems, along
    with working knowledge of Email Marketing Platforms (like Mailchimp)
    • Have a strong knowledge of India’s cultural history
    • Be able to create, analyse and work from a creative brief, marketing brief, or business
    requirements
    • Possess strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an expansive portfolio of quality
    communication in the luxury space
    • Be self-motivated and be able to manage multiple projects within specified timeframes
    • Preferably have prior work experience in a reputed digital agency, and perhaps a
    background in Travel/Publishing

  • INSTAGRAM SPECIALIST

    We're looking for someone to join our team in Delhi to manage and grow our Instagram
    presence. The candidate should be a storyteller at heart, with an eye for detail, and a strong
    command of best practices and trends in social media marketing for a luxury experiential brand.

    The Instagram Specialist would:

    • Create, plan and execute kamalan’s Instagram strategy by developing an action plan for
    the platform in line with monthly budgets
    • Adapt kamalan’s messaging for the Instagram platform and ensure coherence with the
    overall communication strategy spread across our website and other social media
    platforms
    • Develop content calendars for Instagram and publish through promotions and
    campaigns and measure tracking their success using appropriate metrics
    • Use Instagram as a channel to reach out to potential collaborators and nurture
    relationships with like minded brands and individuals on the platform
    • Work on Instagram listening tools to develop content ideas and analyse the
    effectiveness of our tactics
    • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about Kamalan and the creative and
    travel industries in general, with the Instagram audiences
    • Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our Instagram presence and explore
    new ways to engage and identify new ways to reach our target buyers
    • Be a part of the overall brand conversation within the Kamalan team to constantly
    analyse all our projects and actions from a digital communication lens.

    The ideal candidate would:

    • Be, obviously, an Instagrammer at heart, and understand the ins and outs of the
    platform
    • Have a degree in of Arts/Humanities or relevant areas, with a strong knowledge of
    Indian culture and traditions
    • Be well-travelled and widely-read, with impeccable oral and written communication
    skills
    • Have an active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of
    each network and their best practices
    • Be an excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and
    intuition to inform decisions.
    • Have proficiency in using social media listening tools (like HubSpot's Social Inbox) to
    monitor social media conversations. You will be our ear to the ground to route the
    appropriate marketer, sales rep, and/or support rep to social conversations.
    • Preferred experience and skills include familiarity with design tools relevant to creating
    Instagram content, be it still photography or stories or videos

  • CREATIVE INTERN

    We’re looking for a Creative Intern to work with different teams in kamalan to develop the
    visual design and copywriting for our content across our communication platforms

    The Creative Intern would:

    • Work with the team on layouts for our content, predominantly with Adobe InDesign
    and Photoshop
    • Identify and select the relevant images to convey certain abstract and tangible
    concepts in our communication
    • Write copy for our journey proposals in line with our guidelines, while researching the
    respective project
    • Participate in our brainstorming sessions for each kamalan project, be it ideas for the
    next New York Times cover story or a shoot for a street photographer at the Kumbh Mela
    • Be a part of the branding workshops done at kamalan to identify new marketing
    initiatives across platforms

    The ideal candidate would:

    • Have an ability to visualize content and translate it into end design
    • Be self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects within specified time
    frames
    • Have strong working knowledge of software applications like Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
    • Have the capacity to convey strong narratives through words
    • Have an interest in photography and Indian culture
    • Be able to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without constant supervision
    • Have an eye for detail along with critical thinking
    • Have an ability to adapt to a multi-cultural work environment and engage with

  • Experience Curation Intern

    We’re looking for an Experience Curation Intern to work with the Experiences team to
    develop our database through extensive and culturally driven research.

    The Experience Curation Intern would:

    • Conduct Extensive research to collect new experiences for the database and write
    about all they discover over the course of it
    • Support in the development of the experience database through consumption of
    cultural content presented in magazines, industry publications, television
    documentaries and online platforms
    • Work with the team on all new production projects, to develop the experiences for
    any brand or client who seeks to take up storytelling projects in India
    • Put down in words and organise all of their research in a manner that is accessible to
    everyone else in the team

    The ideal candidate would:

    • Be research-driven and enjoy the process of reading and extracting relevant
    information from various sources
    • Have the ability to organize information and make it accessible to a team

  • Editorial Intern

    We are looking for a highly dedicated individual with interest in editing and publishing for an editorial internship in our Delhi office. The Editorial Intern will contribute to the content production at Kamalan by collaborating with various creative professionals, artists and reputed publications.

    The Editorial Intern would:

    • Work with the on-site Social Media Manager to create and implement campaigns and develop content calendars on a weekly and monthly basis for Kamalan.
    • Help to conceptualize and create the right content to publish as well as engage with the target group across social media.
    • Manage existing and new assets including literary, visual and multi-media content both on online and offline platforms.
    • Identify open repositories/opportunities to bring more stories and ideas in alignment with target audience’s preferences
    • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm on ideas for content
    • Work on the layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors on stories published on our platforms
    • Comply with media law and ethical guidelines

    The ideal candidate would:

    • Have impeccable English writing skills
    • Have an eye for detail along with critical thinking

  • Marketing Intern

    We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to work with the Marketing team on idea generation for
    social media initiatives and conducting research for supporting the marketing strategies.

    The Marketing Intern would:

    • Carry out extensive market research to supplement the growth of kamalan
    Partnerships. This will include researching potential partners across the world,
    industries & innovations in the industry
    • Work on the execution and idea generation for social media initiatives undertaken by
    the marketing team
    • Develop an email marketing strategy with the marketing team to serve the bespoke
    and production divisions
    • Take part in marketing workshops with the team to come up with creative
    communication strategies
    • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align initiatives like the sales
    toolkit and sales processes

    The ideal candidate would:

    • Have a flair for storytelling, and have impeccable oral and written communication
    skills
    • Be proactive and have an ability to develop industry specific understanding through
    desk research
    • Have expertise in multiple Social Media Platforms, Content Management Systems,
    along with knowledge of Email Marketing Platforms (like Mailchimp)
