Whether amid the hustle and bustle of a buzzing metropolis or on the tranquil banks of the backwaters it seemed that people made the effort to take the time out of their daily routines for certain activities. From the performance and protocol surrounding the serving of food to the way we were greeted by our hosts, there was a beauty in the small gestures and details. Through this series of pictures, I have tried to capture the quiet moments and the unassuming actions that to me, make a trip to India so special.
