Maharaja Tent

The Maharaja Tent stands in a private garden and is accompanied by a heated plunge pool. Complete with a comfortable sitting room, and a bedroom that overlooks the Narmada, recline on royal cushions and languidly watch the world go about its everyday affairs.

Dining with a view

Meals at the Ahilya Fort are are a movable feast and can be arranged in the courtyard, on the open terraces or by the pool with hundreds of candles. Dining around the grounds, in locations of choice is encouraged by the staff. The chef likes to change the menu every day, but the flavours stay delightful always. All the breads, cakes and cookies are baked by the chef in the kitchen which is supplemented with an organic vegetable garden.

Float on the River

Explore river Narmada on traditional wooden boats that are ideal leisurely rides. Indulge in champagne or cups of tea as you float towards a temple, or let the birds lead the way at sunset, and take you to the grove in which they build their nests.
